In this coaching package we’ll discuss your goals for your novel and how they match up with your manuscript’s existing strengths. I’ll look at high-level plot and character issues and help you develop a revision plan to move your work forward.
This package is designed for manuscripts in the early stages of revision.
What’s included:
- Mini Story Mapping Call (30 min) to discuss your novel so far, your writing progress, and your questions about your draft.
- Written feedback on your full manuscript. This will take the form of a 2-3 page letter discussing what’s working and what isn’t, with clear action items for your next revision.
- Revision Coaching Call (60 min) in which we’ll address your questions and develop a clear, actionable revision plan.
Investment: $500 $400 + $25/5k words over 50k (e.g. $550 for an 80,000-word manuscript)

In this package, we’ll dive deeply into your novel. I’ll help you uncover its strengths and weaknesses and make suggestions for revision. This in-depth manuscript review and is recommended for experienced and committed writers.
What’s included:
- Mini Story Mapping Call (30 min) to discuss your novel so far, your writing progress, and your questions about your draft.
- Inline comments on your full manuscript focused on pacing, story arc, and character development (not copy-edits).
- Editorial letter (6-10 pages) with my feedback.
- Revision Coaching Call (60 min) in which we’ll address your questions and discuss possibilities for revision.
