In this package, we’ll talk through your idea and address your questions. I’ll help you build a guide to your book’s story and structure using powerful, time-tested Author Accelerator tools, tailored to my coaching style and your story. When we’re done, you’ll have a sturdy base for your novelling journey.

• Story Mapping Coaching Call (60 min), in which we’ll discuss your vision for your novel and work together to build its Mini Blueprint.
• Downloadable copy of Blueprint for a Book, by Jennie Nash, to help your develop your Blueprint-inspired Guidebook.
• Two rounds of written feedback on your Guidebook.
• Guidebook Coaching Call (60 min) in which we’ll discuss your work so far and develop a plan for drafting your novel.

Call to Adventure

You’ve begun writing – huzzah! But the drafting process is long and can be challenging. Maybe you’ve gotten stuck a few chapters in, or you’re worried your pages aren’t good enough. In this coaching package, we’ll take a close look at your first pages and how they’re working in the broader context of the novel you’re trying to write. We’ll talk about what’s working, and where to go next. You’ll leave with new confidence and a plan for writing forward.

What’s included:

• Mini Story Mapping Coaching Call (30 min) to discuss your novel so far, your writing progress, and your pain points.
• Written evaluation of your Pocket Guidebook (an abbreviated version of the Novel Guidebook, inspired by the Author Accelerator Blueprint for a Book).
• Written evaluation of your first 10,000 words, the all-important opening chapters of your novel.
• Journey Forward Coaching Call (60 min) in which we’ll discuss your materials, address your questions, and develop a plan for drafting your novel.

The Journey Forward

You’re in the drafting phase of your novel. This is the best part, but it’s hard! Making time to write can be challenging, and it sometimes you find yourself uncertain of what to write next. Maybe you’ve worried you’re writing yourself into a corner. This adventure will give you clarity on your story as it stands so far and help in choosing its next direction.

• Begin your novelling journey with one of the Call to Adventure or Assemble your Guidebook packages, then continue with The Journey Forward .
• Repeat this adventure as many times as you like, at whatever interval your writing practice allows. You’ll get the most out of it if you submit consecutive pages each time.

What’s included:

• Submit a short questionnaire about your novelling practice since your last coaching adventure as well as 10,000 words of your novel.
• Written feedback on your manuscript submission.
• Journey Check-In Coaching Call (60 min) in which we’ll discuss my feedback and your thoughts about the novel going forward. We’ll also make a plan for your next steps, any backtracking that’s needed, and how to maintain your forward momentum.
